Dubbed as Holy Wood or The Wood of the Saints by Spanish monks over a century ago, it is believed that each tree possess an incredibly strong and unique spirit. The pure power of the spirit of each tree demands respect, therefore the harvesting process is quite complex. Palo Santo trees must not be cut down, rather it must fall naturally. The spirit continues to live in the wood long after the tree has fallen, so the wood and essential oils can then only be harvested no earlier than 3 years after the natural death of the tree. When treated and harvested properly, Palo Santo will assist in restoring your physical and energetic wellbeing.

To use Palo Santo is an honour in and of itself, as this spiritual tree has long been revered by mystics, shamans, healers and monks alike. Dating back to the Incan era, this mystical tree was used in rituals and ceremonies all throughout ancient Amazonia. During this time period, these ancient healers would call on the spirit of Palo Santo to aid them in their healing ceremonies.
