We've almost reached that joyful time of the year again where traditionally we get to spoil our nearest and dearest with chocolate and create everlasting magical memories for our families.
For our friends in the Northern Hemisphere Easter is at the start of spring, which is part of the reason why it signifies new beginnings. But for us in the Southern Hemisphere Easter falls at the start of autumn, which I think is really beautiful because for me it not only signifies new beginnings but also endings. No matter your beliefs surrounding this holiday, it's a beautiful time to reflect on all that's happened over the year, show our gratitude and appreciation for those we love, and to come back into the present moment.

The Rabbit (or as we like to think the Easter Bunny)
Not only is the rabbit a symbol for Easter, but it is also the current Chinese Zodiac animal for the year! The rabbit signifies good luck, growth, expansion, a whole lot of hoppy happiness and new beginnings, and in ancient times it symbolised fertility and new life.
The Egg
The egg crystal shape represents rebirth, fertility, hope, purity and the circle of life.
It's believed that the custom of Easter eggs came from the medieval period, where eating eggs during Lent (40 day period pre-easter) was forbidden. Come Easter Sunday, everyone would devour their eggs.
For us, these eggs bring back so many memories of easter egg hunts, and the joy of painting and decorating eggs at easter, then rolling them down the hill. Our absolute love is to share this joy with our children and families and now you.
The Duck
The Duck symbolises spring, and all the delights that come with the season. Though we aren't currently welcoming in spring, our happy little ducklings bring that same beautiful energy. In general, ducks represent happiness, good luck, nurturing bonds and transformation.
