Just like ourselves, crystals naturally come in all different shapes, sizes and colours, but can also be carved into different symbolic forms. The art of crystal carving is an ancient one that dates back to civilisations like the Mayans, Romans, Chinese and the Egyptians.
Just as each crystal has it's own unique properties, the shape or form of the crystal can also enhance it's inherent properties or even add new ones to the stone, which can enable us to utilise it in more or different ways.
The meaning of the Owl
The owl is an incredibly spiritual creature, with one wing in this realm and one wing on the other side of the veil. They collect wisdom and knowledge on their journeys between the realms, sharing what they know to those lucky enough to hear their night call, or catch a glimpse of them.
With the nocturnal nature of the owl, their ability to see in the dark is interpreted as an ability to see what others cannot, unveiling hidden truths and seeing through deception. The owl guides us to follow our intuition and let go of any situations that no longer serves us. It calls you to allow yourself to be adaptable and allow the shifts that need to be, to be.
The owl is the patron animal of the Greek Goddess Athena - Goddess of Wisdom.
It was believed that if you saw an owl or had an affinity to them, Athena was at work, guiding you on your journey, protecting you from the godly realm.
